GOLFERS from the King's Head in Upton teed off with 22 other UK pubs in a bid to win the chance to play on Portugal's Vilamoura course.
Landlord Grahame Bunn joined customers Nick Day, Phillip Stephenson and Alan Schooling for the first round of Bass Ale Golfing Pub of the Year competition, at Worcester Golf Club, yesterday (Thursday). Mr Bunn said that with respective handicaps of 15, 8, 12 and 22, they were hoping for a good day's play.
