Kempsey United Reserves put in the performance of the day to reach the final of The Soccer Site Malvern League Presidents Cup.
Morgan Aero 8, third in the table, were favourites to go through with home advantage, but the young visiting side were undaunted and were victorious by 4-2.
Kempsey were indebted once again to their goal scoring duo of Steve Freear and Ryan Leigh, who each scored twice. Leigh's second goal, Kempsey's fourth, was from the penalty spot and was crucial as Morgan Aero 8 had just pulled it back to 3-2 with a penalty of their own. Morgan Aero 8's goals were scored by Richard Bird and Steve Fields.
In the final, at Malvern Town FC on April 27, kick off 6pm, Kempsey will meet high flying Green Dragon, who proved too good for visitors Madresfield and ran out 3-0 winners with goals from Darren Gwynne and Jason Westmacott (2), but they were made to work hard by their visitors who never gave up.
