Kempsey United Reserves put in the performance of the day to reach the final of The Soccer Site Malvern League Presidents Cup.

Morgan Aero 8, third in the table, were favourites to go through with home advantage, but the young visiting side were undaunted and were victorious by 4-2.

Kempsey were indebted once again to their goal scoring duo of Steve Freear and Ryan Leigh, who each scored twice. Leigh's second goal, Kempsey's fourth, was from the penalty spot and was crucial as Morgan Aero 8 had just pulled it back to 3-2 with a penalty of their own. Morgan Aero 8's goals were scored by Richard Bird and Steve Fields.

In the final, at Malvern Town FC on April 27, kick off 6pm, Kempsey will meet high flying Green Dragon, who proved too good for visitors Madresfield and ran out 3-0 winners with goals from Darren Gwynne and Jason Westmacott (2), but they were made to work hard by their visitors who never gave up.

Worcester Juniors beat higher placed opponents when they surprised visitors Club AC 30 and earned the points with a 2-0 victory.

Their first goal came from Chris White who ran through to lob the ball over the advancing keeper. Their second goal was something special from James Hodgkins who from fully 30 yards controlled the ball on his right foot before turning and smashing a left foot shot home.

In the days only other league game, Dynamo Ledbury entertained St Peters. The visitors were only able to field eight players and went down 16-0.

The game was notable for a brilliant display of goalkeeping by St Peters' half time replacement goalkeeper Mark Faulkner and the miss of this season by Dynamos leading goal scorer John Walker who somehow managed to put the ball over the bar from virtually on the goal line. Dynamo's scorers were John Walker (4), Adam Thomas (4), Ray Shakesheff (2), and one each for Glyn Cummings, Mitch Preedy, Dan Lucas, Matthew Williams, Allan Green and Richard Griffiths.
