A CHARITY shop in Barnards Green is appealing for more volunteers as it struggles to cope with its success.
The Acorns Children's Hospital Trust shop, in Court Road, just cannot process donated items fast enough.
Shop manager Carol Griffiths wants more volunteers to help get the books, toys, videos etc into the shop.
"We get so much stock delivered that we don't have the ability to process it all," she said.
"The more staff we have, the more stock we can get on to the shop floor and the more money we can raise for the hospice."
Ms Griffiths said volunteers did not need a background in retailing.
Since opening in November the shop, one of 33 belonging to the charity in the Three Counties, has helped to boost the appeal to more than £2 million.
The aim is to fund a £4 million children's hospice in Worcester.
Anyone wanting to volunteer should call in or ring the shop on 01684 569707.
