Glorious weather greeted the 220 riders at the second round of the Cotswold Enduro Club Championship at Whaddon, near Milton Keynes.
The course comprised 5 miles of both motorcross and cross country going and the recent spell of good weather made the going firm but still left a couple of mud holes to catch more then the odd rider out.
Malvern enduro rider Ian Jackson rode consistently for the three hour race to finish a third on his Yamaha WRF400 only one lap down on four stroke clubman winner Martin Stancer.
In the expert class enduro ace Sascha Eckert premiered the event by completing a 16 laps. Rob Breakwell finshed in second, 11 minutes down, with 2003 Paris-Dakar finisher Derek Edmondson a further five minutes behind in third.
The next round is at Hope-Under-Dinmore, near Leominster on Sunday (April 13).
