Bromyard Logics have been creating an instant impact in their first season in the Malvern League.
They have already gained promotion to division two and have now reached the final of the handicap competition.
They gained a comfortable victory over their division two opponents Crackpots E without having to call on their 40 point handicap.
John Hunt had his usual successful evening and was ably assisted by Chris Daniels and Derek Craddock.
For Crackpots E, Colin Dolding fought hard and in the doubles he and James Palmer just came out on top in the 5-11, 11-5, 9-11, 11-8 scoreline.
In the final Logics will play another division three team, Crackpots C.
Once again Richard Cullis produced an outstanding performance in taking a game off Gordon Stables, Nev Meredith and Dave Saer and, with the help of Ed Palmer, did the same in the doubles. Neither Stan Ginn nor Ed Palmer gave up without a fight and deservedly gained a 54 point victory.
In the secondary competition Manor Park Express kept the division one flag flying when beating Juniors C by 34 points.
Colin Sage gave the Juniors side a great start but from that point onwards Alan Salisbury, Dave Woodyatt and Ray Page took a firm grip on the match to give Express a place in the final.
Their opponents will be the winners of the other semi-final between Manor Park Maulers and Malvern Police.
RESULTS: Semi-final - Bromyard Logics (40) 408, Crackpots E 342; Crackpots C (250) 476, Ledbury Lions 422; Juniors C (290) 406, Manor Park Express 440.
The two finals will take place at the Civil Service Sports & Social Club on Tuesday starting at 7.30pm. Spectators will be most welcome.
