another Malvern RFC youth rugby player Matthew Tighe has been invited to join the prestigious RFU Elite Player Development Centre, based at Sixways.
Matt, a member of the Malvern U15 Squad, was spotted by RFU rugby development officer Ross Baxter at the recent inter-county U15 Rugby Festival in Solihull.
He will join fellow club-mates, Will Bowen and Liam Moloney at the EDPC, where he will be coached by top class RFU coaches to see if he has what it takes to be a future England international.
Matt's talents were first recognised back in November, 1999, when he was selected by the North Midlands RFU for a curtain raiser before the England v Argentina international.
Perhaps one day he will return to play on the hallowed turf, but this time in an England shirt in front of a capacity crowd.
