ALMOST £500 was raised for charity by two Worcester companies when they held a successful business seminar.
Harrison Clark-Solicitors and Rabjohns Business and Tax Advisers got together to host a seminar on the topic of partnerships converting to Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP).
Delegates contributed £10 to one of two local charities - Acorns Children's Hospice and the Noah's Arc Trust, a bereavement service for young people.
In all, £480 was raised from the seminar, held on Thursday, March 27 in The Guesten, Worcester Cathedral.
"The information from speakers Robert Capper, of Harrison Clark, and Robert Fearon and Ian Smith, from Rabjohns, was extremely well received," said Robert Capper, from Harrison Clark.
"It has now become an established formula for the two firms to provide seminars on current issues for businesses and we are very happy if at the same time we can raise money for local charities.
"The mix of legal and tax advice our seminars provide seems to give delegates the overview and food-for-thought they are looking for," added Robert Fearon, from Rabjohns.
"If good causes can benefit at the same time then all the better."
