HOOKER Marco Caputo has been given the all clear to make his debut for Worcester at West Hartlepool on Saturday.
Sixways director of rugby Les Cusworth was given the green light from Twickenham yesterday after his formal registration was completed.
Worcester were hoping the former Australian international would be involved in last weekend's 84-15 romp at Wakefield but the paperwork was not completed in time.
Caputo's former club Bedford have also claimed the player was still registered with them but Cusworth has ended all speculation after talking to Twickenham yesterday.
"It was never in doubt that he would get clearance, it was just a matter of time," said Cusworth.
"We wanted to make sure everything was OK and we never travel without a list of registered players."
Italian-born Caputo signed last week as a free agent after two forgettable months with cash-strapped Bedford.
He has played five times for Australia but, due to his dual nationality, has moved to Europe to establish himself as an Italian international.
