WORCESTER Rugby Club Ladies wing Pip Atkinson is currently playing rugby in a warmer climate as she represents the England Women's Select at the Bermuda Classics Tournament.
This is the first time that England have sent a women's team to the tournament, and Atkinson is part of a squad of former and present internationals aged 30 and over.
Pip, who is a physical education teacher in Cheltenham, joined Worcester this season from Bristol side Clifton and she has scored in both her Premiership league appearances against Saracens and Waterloo.
She returns to England next week in time for Worcester's Premiership league match versus her former club Clifton at Sixways on Sunday, November 26.
Meanwhile, three members of Worcester Rugby's professional squad represented Major Stanley's XV against Oxford University at Iffley Road on Wednesday.
Andrea Moretti, Cameron Mather and Ian Calder were all involved in the select squad that went down 42-33 against the varsity side.
Moretti started the match and Mather and Calder came on as second half replacements in the squad captained by former Scotland international Scott Hastings.
