Defender Adie Smith returns to the Kidderminster Harriers squad for tonight's tough Nationwide League Division Three clash at Darlington (7.30pm).

He missed Saturday's thrilling 3-3 draw with Lincoln City at Sincil Bank because of a foot injury sustained the previous day during training.

"He trained yesterday and there was no reaction to the injury," said Kidderminster manager Jan Molby.

Still on the sidelines, however, are goalkeeper Stuart Brock, front-runner Ian Foster and midfielder Gary Barnett.

Brock has a wear and tear injury to his knee which forced him to pull out of Saturday's deadlock at Lincoln.

His place was taken by Tim Clarke who made an earlier than expected comeback following his knee operation.

Foster, who had manipulation treatment on his damaged hamstring last week, has yet or resume full training.

He has been involved in his own fitness programme, but is on course to step up training soon.

As for assistant boss Barnett -- the midfielder was back in training again yesterday but is not yet ready to be considered for selection.

Mid-table Harriers go into tonight's clash without a win in their last four Division Three outings and Molby is anticipating another stiff challenge.

He said: "It's going to be an extremely difficult game for us. They play good football and are unbeaten at home. They have the best defensive record in the Third Division."

Barnett said: "Last season Darlington played very good football and that is still in place.

"There's a lot of expectation up there especially from the chairman because of the money they have been paying out. Promotion is expected so it's going to be very, very tough.

"But, the way we have been playing away from home, we are more than capable of getting results.

"We have got a little bit of everything when it comes to playing away from home, defending in numbers, having a lot of character and being difficult to break down.

Pleased

"But we can also hit on the break as we have some fast players and also some clever players," Barnett added.

Midfielder Andy Ducros, Kidderminster's man-of-the-match against Lincoln, said: "It's another tough away game for us. If we can get anything out of it we'll be quite pleased.

"If we had lost on Saturday we would have been on a downer, but to come back after trailing three times has made the boys quite buoyant."

The Quakers are currently in seventh place in the table and have won four and drawn two of their six home matches.

They have conceded just two league goals at their Feethams headquarters and only six in six away games.
