Sixways played host to its second World Cup side when Argentina rolled into town yesterday.
And one of the South American's star players said he may consider returning to Worcester - to play for the Gold 'n' Blues.
Scrum-half Agustin Pichot, snapped up by Bristol after two impressive years with Richmond, was among the Argentinians put through their paces in preparation for their make or break group match with Samoa on Sunday.
The Pumas lost 23-18 to Wales in the tournament's opener last Friday so must beat Samoa and Japan to qualify for a quarter-final play-off spot.
Pichot said he was impressed with the Sixways facilities.
"It's an excellent facility and we were very surprised with what we found here," he said. "We've got seven days between our games and that's a long time so we decided to use Worcester and have a good time."
Pichot has known Worcester's director of rugby, Les Cusworth, for four years and is a former club mate of Ben Harvey when the two were both at Richmond.
"Les has told me all about the club but I've never been here before and it's marvellous.
"Maybe in the future I might come here. I've known Les since the Pan American Games in 1995. He is a great coach and a very good person.
"I expect there will be more Argentinian players in Europe after the world cup even though the market has gone a little bit quiet."
Pichot added that the squad were disappointed with defeat at the Millennium Stadium last week and determined to make amends.
"To be part of the opening ceremony and the first game of the world cup was excellent," he added. "We could have won but we didn't get the points so now we have to beat Samoa and that's going to be really tough."
