FORMER Liverpool and Danish international Jan Molby hopes his big match pedigree will rub off on his Kidderminster Harriers players for their crunch match with Nationwide Conference title rivals Rushden and Diamonds at Aggborough tomorrow (3pm).

"I was lucky enough to have had many a big game in my career as a player and, believe me, it's the one thing that you live for," said the Harriers chief.

"I would like to think that those of our players who have not played in a big game before will get the taste for it tomorrow. I sincerely hope they see that this is what it's all about and say 'let's get some more of these'."

Leaders Kidderminster go into the game three points ahead of Rushden with a game in hand. The clash will be watched by a sell-out crowd of 6,250 with Harriers aiming to extend their unbeaten home league run of 14 matches which includes 12 victories.

Molby said: "Once the players cross the white line there's not a lot we can do for them, but in terms of build up we have just been trying to do things as normally as we can. It's a case of trying to get them to peak at the right time.

"I think the pressure mentally is massive. We haven't had that for a couple of weeks because we haven't had any games. But it doesn't mean we haven't stopped thinking about it -- we have kept our eye on the ball.

"When the lads come in tomorrow we'll start concentrating, but until then we'll be as normal as we possibly can."

Molby firmly believes, however, that the game is not a make-or-break affair.

"If we were to lose then it will be a rallying call after the game -- we'll have seven matches left and 21 points to be won.

"If we did lose tomorrow and won the remainder of the games I still think we'd win the league. It's still very, very tight, but I think psychologically for whoever wins they would get a massive boost."

Kidderminster have striker Neil Midgley in their squad following the 21-year-old's loan move from Ipswich Town while goalkeeper Tim Clarke, who has been suffering from calf trouble, trained last night. But Mark Druce is ruled out with a thigh strain.

Rushden will be without their influential midfielders Gary Butterworth (swollen knee) and Michael McElhatton (cartilage).
