KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby has received a massive boost ahead of his side's Nationwide Conference title showdown with Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday.
The former Liverpool star has scooped The Mail on Sunday's Manager of the Month award for March -- just pipping Hereford United chief Graham Turner.
Molby said today: "The award is obviously great to win because it means that you are doing well.
"But you can't win these sort of things without the players. It's their performances on the pitch that have won the award for me."
During March, Molby, who has won the £250 award twice this season, guided Kidderminster to four wins in five matches.
They have lost just one league game since early November and are unbeaten in 14 home at Aggborough -- a run that includes 12 victories.
But Harriers could lose top spot tonight if Rushden beat Morcambe at Nene Park. The Northamptonshire side go into the clash having played the same number of games as Harriers who are three points better off.
The big spending Northamptonshire outfit, however, have a slightly better goal difference than Molby's men who will be playing in front of a sell-out 6,250 crowd when they entertain Rushden on Saturday.
Harriers, meanwhile, have been installed as 8-11 favourites to win the Conference title by leading bookmakers Ladbrokes -- the first time this season they have been tipped ahead of Rushden, who are priced at evens.
Molby said: "Being favourites doesn't mean a great deal. That's just in the eyes of the bookmakers. I still think it's too close to call."
Kidderminster's run-in sees them entertain Forest Green Rovers and Northwich Victoria with away matches at Altrincham, Dover, Southport, Sutton and Woking.
After the Harriers clash, Rushden face home games with Altrincham, Doncaster Rovers and Scarborough and away trips to Southport, Welling and Woking.
