SIX members of the Worcester Ladies squad have been selected for the provisional England Squad.
England coach Geoff Richards has selected a provisional 43-strong England Squad for the 2000/2001 season. This squad will form the basis for the England and England A teams and will be finalised over the next few months.
Included from Worcester are scrum half and captain Joanne Yapp, wing Nicky Crawford, centre Karen Andrew, centre Sarah Grigg, hooker Nicky Goodwin and second row Alex Pilkington.
This is the first time that Grigg and Pilkington have been selected for the senior squad; both have represented Emerging England.
The squad will train at Bisham Abbey on November 4th and 5th, Loughborough University on December 2nd and 3rd, Bisham Abbey on January 13th and 14th prior to the Six Nations Championship.
