WORCESTER City's FA Umbro Trophy second round tie against Hendon could be moved to a different ground.
A waterlogged pitch at Hendon's Loot Stadium forced the match to be called off for a second time yesterday. It will now be played next Monday, December 11 (7.45).
But with an improvement in the weather unlikely, Hendon, who have not played at home for more than three weeks, have approached neighbouring clubs as a stand-by measure.
Hendon have already spoken to their Ryman League Premier Division rivals Harrow Borough and are awaiting a reply, while Division One outfit Yeading is another option.
Hendon secretary Graham Etchell said: "Harrow is only 10 miles away. We have spoken to them and if that is OK we will definitely agree to go there."
Third Division Barnet and Conference side Hayes are also close at hand, while Wembley Stadium, Arsenal and Tottenham are just down the road!
City's Dr Martens Cup second round tie at Tamworth has been put back to Tuesday, December 19 (7.45).
And Kidderminster Harriers' LDV Vans Trophy first round tie with Carlisle United at Aggborough, postponed this week, will now be played next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Seat tickets purchased for the original date will be valid.
