ROTHERHAM Rugby Club are to continue their legal action against the reduction of the top division following a fruitless meeting yesterday.
Owners of clubs in the top two leagues met yesterday but Rotherham chief executive Mike Yarlett said the breach of the Mayfair Agreement was not even discussed.
Rotherham say they and Worcester should fill the spaces left by the merger of London Scottish, London Irish and Richmond.
Worcester Rugby Club were due to unveil former England manager Geoff Cooke as their new chief executive today. The club were hosting a press conference to explain Cooke's new role at Sixways alongside director of rugby Les Cusworth.
