KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will be hoping to open up a wider gap at the top of the Nationwide Conference table when they take on Hednesford Town at Aggborough tomorrow (3.0).

Manager Jan Molby's promotion-hopefuls go into the clash four points clear after an unbeaten league run stretching 11 matches.

Although they will be fully focused on tomorrow's tough encounter they will also be keeping close tabs on the outcome of Dover's home showdown against Rushden & Diamonds.

Dover are in second place behind Harriers with a game in hand while Rushden are fourth.

The Northamptonshire outfit are six points adrift of Kidderminster with two mat-ches in hand.

Although Harriers injury list has subsided they will be without Paul Webb, Andy Brownrigg and Shaun Cunnington.

Skipper Webb is still battling to overcome hamstring trouble while Brownrigg suffered a knock on his knee while playing for the reser ves at Burton earlier in the week.

Cunnington stepped up his fitness bid last night by taking part in his first full training session for some time because of a back injury.

Webb and Brownrigg are not expected to be sidelined for long while Cunnington will now be aiming to gain full match fitness as quickly as possible.

Aggborough assistant manager Gary Barnett is expecting a difficult match tomorrow against a Hednesford side they beat 2-0 at Keys Park earlier in the season thanks to goals from Scott Stamps and Thomas Skovbjerg.

He said: "We have got to go out there and be positive. After the two week break we have just had everybody will be hungry to play.

"It should be a good game. It's a local derby and everybody likes to win those."

Barnett believes tenth-placed Hednesford will be bulging with confidence after their 5-0 thrashing of Altrincham at Keys Park last Saturday.

Their win was based on a fine performance from Micky Norbury who has recently returned to the club.

He was among their goal scorers and is one player Kidderminster will be paying particular attention to tomorrow when they expect a crowd of more than 3,000.

Harriers, who have not lost a home league match since Monday, September 13, when they went down 2-1 to Nuneaton Borough, have named a 16 strong squad which includes recent injury victims Phil King and Steve Pope.
