WORCESTER City boss John Barton believes yesterday's 1-0 win at Dorchester Town was a perfect start to a critical week for the club.
City host Wessex League side Thatcham Town in the FA Cup third qualifying round on Saturday, and Barton said: "It's a good kick-off for us."
Barton sent head of scouting Graham Selby to watch Thatcham on Saturday and added: "It will give us a little bit of an idea about them. The thing is not to underestimate any opposition."
Defender Martin Weir is the main injury doubt after missing yesterday's game with a knee ligament injury, but keeper Danny McDonnell should be fit after being sidelined with a virus.
City's victory lifted them to eighth in the Dr Martens Premier Division.
