KIDDERMINSTER Harriers can open up a three point lead at the top of the Nationwide Conference table to-morrow when they entertain Hayes at Aggborough (3.00).
Harriers go into the match on top of the pile thanks to a better goal difference than Rushden & Diamonds.
And with no other Conference games tomorrow, manager Jan Molby's promotion-seekers can step up the heat on their title rivals by overcoming a Hayes who are struggling in the lower reaches of the table.
Kidderminster, unbeaten in their last eight Conference outings, will be bidding to gain revenge for their 2-0 defeat at Hayes on October 2 and Molby is expecting another tough test.
He said today: "There is a chance for us to go three points clear, but it's also a potential banana skin. They are unbeaten in their last four away league matches and, of course, they beat us earlier in the season.
"They are a well organised, physical side with good front men, but if we do what has taken us to the top of the league then we have got to be in with a good chance.
"It's going to be tough. We'll be looking to have the majority of play, but we'll have to be on our guard at the back.
"What we've got to do now is to make sure that we do the right things."
Added to the squad is midfielder Andy Brownrigg who has battled his way back from a cartilage operation on November 1.
He stepped up his match fitness programme on Tuesday by playing in Kidderminster's 5-2 Worcestershire Senior Cup second round victory over Stourbridge at Amblecote.
His last Conference appearance was on October 9 against Yeovil.
Striker Ian Foster and defender Scott Stamps, who has just signed an 18 months contract for Harriers, are both fit after suffering this week from slight groin strains.
Foster scored a hat-trick in Kidderminster's 3-2 win at Nuneaton Borough last Saturday, a result which took them to the top of the Conference table for the first time since April, 1997.
Kidderminster, however, are still troubled by a number of other injuries.
Steve Pope is sidelined with a foot injury along with fellow defender Phil King who has a calf problem.
Midfielder Shaun Cunnington continues to be on the casualty list with a nagging back injury.
Hayes are currently fifth from bottom in the table with three away wins to their credit so far this season.
They have also secured four draws on their travels.
