ONE Worcester couple will be travelling the length of Britain on a motorbike over the Easter weekend to raise money for charity.
Bryan Sandy and his girlfriend Sarah Pritchard will set off on Good Friday for an estimated 2,000 mile round trip, which will take them first to John O'Groats, in Scotland, then down to Land's End, in Cornwall, before returning to Worcester on Sunday night.
The biking enthusiasts, from Hydrangea Close, St Peter's, are hoping to raise between £600 and £700 for the Acorns Children's Hospice Appeal.
Mr Sandy, aged 39, said he would be doing all of the riding while his girlfriend would be the pillion passenger on the back of their BMW R1100 RS motorbike.
"Motorbikes are our hobby and Land's End to John O'Groats is the biggest challenge in Britain," said Mr Sandy, who added that both felt the charity was a well-deserving cause.
Anyone who wishes to sponsor them can do so by calling 01905 769089.
