LIVEWIRE striker Duncan Willetts gave Stourport manager Dave Titterton a selection dilemma after claiming the man of the match honours in his side's 2-1 defeat by visitors Swindon Supermarine.

The West Country side turned in a display worthy of a mid-table side rather than one fighting to avoid relegation.

And this seemed to bring out the best in the waspish Willetts who would have certainly bagged an equaliser had Swindon goalkeeper Elliott Jackson not been in such sparkling form.

Banned marksman Richard Ball may have to wait before making his return to the Swifts line-up as Willetts and Andy Wright formed an effective partnership in front of goal.

Swindon needed just two minutes to open the scoring, Duncan McCluskey heading in a Simon Futcher corner as the home defence stood looking on.

A Simon Marsh penalty ten minutes later, following Jackson's trip on Wright, hauled Titterton's side on to level terms.

But the visitors continued to shade the chances before the break as the Stourport defence looked unusually uneasy.

Futcher was again the provider as Swindon nosed ahead again three minutes before the break, his free-kick finding Jimmy Carter who turned his header just inside the foot of the post.

But this spurred Swifts into action and Jackson produced three good saves to keep out the impressive Willetts who was starting a game for the first time.

The former Worcester City striker's best effort was a curling free-kick which was palmed around the post.

Then McCluskey produced a last-minute goal-line clearance, heading John Shirley's effort away from under the bar.
