I WRITE about the additional park-and-ride scheme being proposed for Worcester.
Is there a co-ordinated transport policy in existence, and if so, is the aim to drive cars out of the town centre?
If this is the case, why is the council spending £700,000 of taxpayers' money on upgrading St Martin's Gate car park? This at a time when funding is being cut for other services.
Can I suggest that the parties involved in making these decisions speak to each other?
JAN SOKOLOWSKI,
Worcester.
