DOES Worcester have a traffic co-ordination department? Taking into account the excellent standard of work carried out by the road resurfacing contractors on Blackpole road recently, you have to ask who was responsible for sending the diverted traffic into Bilford road where there were also road works being carried out under the Safer Routes to Schools Scheme.
This was in addition, of course, to the road works of some three or four weeks at its junction with Droitwich road. Now that's real planning.
However, could I say welcome to the speed camera along City Walls Road. May it be the first of many. The only people who need to be concerned will be those who speed.
B HUNT, Worcester.
