FAB Four tribute band, the Beatless, is hoping Worcester City Council will allow its final farewell performance to "come together" at St George's Lane.
An estimated 2,500 revellers are expected to cram into Worcester City Football Club's ground during the Party on the Pitch celebrations.
The Worcester tribute band, which is set to headline the gig, wants to celebrate more than a decade of mop top music making with a rocking open-air concert at St George's Lane on Saturday, May 10, from 4pm.
The Licensing Committee, meeting on Tuesday, April 22, will give its final decision on granting an occasional public entertainment licence for the event.
The band, which first performed together at Drummonds pub, Worcester, 11 years ago, is set to be joined on stage with the area's current crop of top bands, including Blind Lemon, Come Together and Medford.
n The Beatless are ready for a stadium show.
