GOAL-shy Evesham United will be boosted by the return of Wesley Joyce for their Dr Martens Western Division clash at Cinderford Town tonight (7.45).

Joyce has missed the Robins last four matches, in three of which they have failed to score.

Manager Phil Mullen also has the key figure of Jay Powell back in the squad who was ruled out of Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Gresley Rovers with a head wound.

Powell's presence could be crucial against a Cinderford side who will be a tough proposition, according to Mullen.

"They are a physical side and we'll have to mix it up a bit," he said.

"We beat them at our place in August but they have changed dramatically with a new manager. They are similar to ourselves and Gresley in that they are mid-table and not going anywhere but we could do with a win and a goal because we haven't scored one in three games.

"It's not that we haven't had chances but have just failed to put the goals away though in fairness we've been short of forwards who we've been struggling to get fit."

Striker Mark Shepherd, who suffered no reaction to his hamstring strain at Gresley, is set to link up with Joyce for the first time since their 1-0 win at Shepshed.

n Pershore Town entertain the ICIS Midland Combination Premier Division's very own Tractor Boys with the visit of Massey Ferguson tonight (7.45).

Manager Nigel Russell will be looking for an upturn in fortunes following Saturday's 3-0 semi-final defeat to rivals Fernhill County Sports in the Smedley Crooke Cup.

n Kington Town are at home to Wolves United in the second leg of the West Midlands League Cup tonight (7.45). The Herefordshire side, who won the first leg 1-0, are currently flying high in second place in the league and still harbouring hopes of catching leaders Westfields.

The two teams have to play each other twice in May.
