TIM Walsh may have played his final game for Worcester Rugby Club after being ruled out of the rest of the National One season.
The Sixways fly-half was knocked out in Saturday's 21-9 defeat by Rotherham and faces a mandatory three-week rest because of concussion.
Walsh will play no part in the rest of the season and, out of contract in the summer, he may now return to Australia.
Craig Chalmers could be given a run-out in Saturday's home clash with Birmingham & Solihull with James Brown struggling with a rib injury, while open-side flanker Gavin Pfister looks set to miss out after a calf pull. Winger Nnamdi Ezulike will be unavailable because of a knee injury.
Werner Swanepoel picked up an Achilles problem in the Rotherham match while Mark Gabey and Tony Windo are both nursing swollen knees. Neil Lyman damaged his sternum and is also doubtful.
In the wake of Saturday's defeat, Worcester's director of rugby, John Brain, was left to ponder the club's future. An RFU working party is not expected to make a decision over next season's promotion and relegation until June 30.
With he and coach Andy Keast out of contract by then, Brain admitted that the situation was far from ideal. "How can you plan for next season when we won't know what's to play for until the end of June?"
