COULD I echo the Mayor of Worcester Coun Robert Rowden in his praise for Chris Dobbs, designer, and works supervisor Ivor Palmer, on yet another award for the wonderful riverside Quayhead Square scheme?
Particularly when we recall the alternative design put forward by the previous New Labour administration, described, I believe, by Phillpott as a gash in the riverbank in the name of art?
And many thanks to Worcester's benefactor Cecil Duckworth who, had he contributed similar amounts to the New Labour party funds, would probably have received at least a peerage by now.
B HUNT,
Worcester.
