BRASSED-OFF townsfolk looking for a new hobby are being urged to take up a musical instrument.
Town music school, Music for You, is looking for residents to take up brass and stringed instruments to fill vacancies in current classes.
The Worcester Road based academy has had a flood of enquiries about guitar lessons and all places are now full.
"People in Bromsgrove have gone mad for guitars," said Dawn Bradley, spokeswoman for Music for You.
"If they don't want lessons, they want to buy a guitar and our shop has practically turned into a specialist facility!
"So, we are looking for people interested in playing brass and stringed instruments and there is a lot of availability in classes," she added.
Students at the music school are aged between five and 70 and there are classes to suit all abilities.
