BARNT Green Spartak collected three vital points in their quest for the Midland Combination division two championship with a 1-0 win at Cadbury Athletic Reserves.
GJ Singh's side were forced to play 80 minutes of last Thursday's match with ten men after Clinton Bell was shown a red card for holding a player back when through on goal.
Spartak took the lead on 31 minutes when Delroy Brown slammed the ball home from 18 yards after Shaid Akbar had played him in.
Second half chances came and went for Spartak to win by more an Cadbury never really threatened the visitors' goal.
