DEAR EDITOR -- How much longer do the motorists, buses and pedestrians have to suffer from the bottleneck that has been caused by the taxi firm based in Housman Close?
When will the council and police act as regards the mess, oil-covered pavements and up to a dozen cars and taxis parked and repaired upon the pavements both day and night.
This nuisance has caused the road surface to be eroded and it is a very busy corner on a busy bus route, especially for us older citizens and children from both St. Peter's and South Bromsgrove High schools.
A fatality is waiting to happen involving an innocent child or an elderly person because the council chooses to turn their back on these operators who bring in revenues to the towns coffers.
What used to be a popular neighbourhood has been turned into a slum at the expense of old Bromsgrovians.

Austin Road,
Bromsgrove.
