A LOTTERY game using scratchcards, which was organised by Vernon's Pools in conjunction with Bromsgrove District Council, was officially launched by top TV star Norman Vaughan. The cards were priced at 25p each and prizes ranged from 50p to £1,000. The profits, which were estimated to be £100,000 annually, would be used to pay for sports and other amenities in the town.
