PRESIDENT Pearl Prior welcomed everyone. Pearl, secretary Joy Overton, and the treasurer gave their reports, and then Dorothy Radford gave information on the outings she is organising. A coffee morning and bring and buy sale will be held on Wednesday, July 2, at 10.30am at 72 Ashmead Drive, Coften Hackett. The speaker was Mike Ledbury, who gave a talk on confessions of a Morris Man. The vote of thanks was given by Rae Fowler. The competition, songs with fruit in their titles, was won by Maureen Pearmain, with Beattie Denning and Janet King second and third respectively. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 14. The talk is entitled a crafty afternoon. All visitors will be welcome at Burcot Village Hall at 2.15pm
