CORRESPONDENT Frank L Jones' writes: "Martin Roberts is to stand for the British National Party.
"He is instantly denounced by the Chief Executive of Worcester Racial Equality Council, Mohammed Aslam."
I should like to ask why the Chief Executive of the Worcester Racial Equality Council (which receives most of its funding from the National Lottery's Community Fund, together with £380,000 from Worcestershire County Council taxpayers) is meddling in the elections of our political representatives.
Why are National Lottery Funds being used for political purposes? Why is £380,000 of taxpayers' money being used for political purposes?
Are the Chief Executives of "agencies" funded by the National Lottery's Community Fund now to involve themselves in politics on what is the public purse?
N TAYLOR, Worcester.
