YOUNG children at a Rubery playgroup dressed-up as their favourite nursery book characters for a spot of end of term fun.
Muffet.
Wee Willie Winkie, Little Bo-Peep and Hickory Dickory Dock were just some of the identities tots took on at St Oswald's Pre-school last Thursday.
The children have been learning all about nursery rhymes as part of the National Curriculum.
Family and friends packed into Rubery Leisure Centre to enjoy a performance of the rhymes and enjoyed hot cross buns and drinks afterwards.
Pre-school supervisor ,Lesley Bisseker, said: "The whole day was a big success and the staff would like to say a big thank you to all the mums, dads and grandparents who worked so hard to make the children's costumes. They were simply wonderful."
