THE importance of sharing was the message of a play presented by tots from a Charford school.
Around 70 year-one youngsters at Charford First School put on three performances of Happy Hat Land for parents, staff and pupils.
The children spent three months preparing for the shows, which included learning lots of songs and making colourful hats. Proud parents packed into the school shows, which were a big hit.
Year one teacher Anne Colley said: "Everyone really enjoyed the play and the children got a lot out of it. They put in a lot of hard work, as did staff and teaching assistants.
"There were a lot of parents sat watching with lumps in their throats, they were so proud."
