Cleobury 13 pts Upton-on-Severn 27
CLEOBURY gave a disappointing display in their last North Midlands 1 match of the season as Upton took advantage with a controlled, aggressive display.
The visitors opened with a converted try and although Colin Smith replied with two penalties, a penalty and another converted try saw Upton take a 17-6 lead at the break. Mortimer closed the gap with a try from Ian King, converted by Smith, but Upton coasted to victory with another converted try and a penalty. It was a pity that Cleobury allowed their opponents to get away to a good lead by the break.
