THE old Welsh Cup ties between Wrexham and Kidderminster Harriers will bring fond memories for many supporters.
And Harriers started off their Division Three fixtures with the promotion-chasing Welshmen in style, winning 2-0 at the Racecourse Ground in December.
But Wrexham have become one of the favourites to take the third automatic promotion spot and are in tremendous form.
They have gone nine matches unbeaten since losing 1-0 at Exeter in March, scoring 10 goals in the last four fixtures.
Danger man is the division's top scorer Andy Morrell with 30 league goals from 40 matches as well as one in the cup.
Wrexham also have experienced keeper Andy Dibble, Alex Ferguson's son Darren in midfield and a host of Trinidad and Tobago internationals.
Then on Monday Harriers visit York who have done superbly to challenge for a play-off position, amid worries over the club's future.
York visit Lincoln on Saturday and are currently unbeaten in seven games.
