A PROPOSED extension at Barley Orchard, Welland Road, Upton-upon-Severn, could be refused planning permission because it is too big.
Upton planning chairman Roger Barker said it would possibly increase the size of the house by 100 per cent.
Refusal
The town council recommended refusal of the plan for alterations, a first floor extension and a detached garage.
"If anyone was to suggest that extension was put on the side of the house, a fit would ensue.
"I think one should have a quiet fit at one of that size being put on top of a house," said Coun Simon Wilkinson.
"It is vastly too great an extension."
