RAIL passengers face a miserable start to the Easter Holidays as services are being cut due to strike action on the busiest day of the year for the railways.
Central Trains will be running a quarter of its normal service but the operator will not provide any trains out of Worcester today.
Virgin Cross Country will operate 60 per cent of its normal service.
Thames Trains' will run a normal timetable because the striking guards have been replaced with other staff.
First Great Western will be running a normal service as it has reached an agreement with the Railways Maritime and Transport Workers Union.
The 24-hour strike will last until midnight tonight.
