A DOOR with stained glass depicting parts of historic Pershore has found a new home in an antique shop in the town.
The door came of out Belle House and was bought from the town council by SW Antiques in the Newlands.
Adrian Whiteside, of SW Antiques, explained: "The door was specially commissioned for a house in Bridge Street some 10 years ago. The stained glass depicts the Abbey and the old bridge."
He said the original idea of the town council was to use the door in its new headquarters in the former post office building in High Street, but there was nowhere suitable for it.
The door is for sale and Mr Whiteside said: "We would like it to go to someone local who would appreciate the local history attached to it."
