MARTIAL ARTS: Consistent Drew Neal was victorious at the World Amateur Kickboxing Organisation British Championships in Nottingham for the third consecutive year.
Neal, who competed in the U-84kgs section, has also made the Great Britain team who head to the World Championships in Ukraine later this year.
The Kidderminster 23-year-old has already claimed a silver medal at the Irish Open, one of the world's most prestigious tournaments.
Neal, a fitness instructor at Waves Health and Leisure Club in Stourport, narrowly lost to an Italian fighter in the final.
He will appear for an all-star British freestyle team against the national karate side in May in an extravaganza event.
But he is looking for sponsorship in a bid to add to his recent successes.
Neal is also chasing television exposure as he auditions for a Sky One programme, Fight School, which will be filmed in China.
He trains with Jason Charlesworth's club in Redditch and in Old Hill.
Charlesworth said: "He had five fights at the British Championships and beat Owen King in the final.
"At the moment, Drew's the man everyone wants to beat and he's very dedicated."
