MOTORSPORT: Arley's young ace, Ross Danby, 13, recorded the best performance at Stourbridge Motorcycling Club's Trial at Shatterford on Saturday and won the schoolboy class.
Not far behind was another Bewdley Motor Cycle club member, Sean Fox, 15, from Hartlebury, who took second schoolboy place.
Kidderminster youngsters Richard Evans and Scott Cartwright followed closely.
Kevin Taylor, also from Kidderminster, won the intermediate class, while Andy Spencer was pipped by Kinver rider Dave Taylor in the clubman class.
Jim Pickering, of Kidderminster, celebrated his return from injury to win the pre-65 class on Saturday.
The following day, Pickering took the two-stroke class of the British Motor Cycle Association's trial at Hook-a-Gate.
The next event is the Bewdley club's round of the British Sidecar Trials Championship on the Clee Hills on Sunday, April 27.
