A STOURPORT goalkeeper is hoping to clinch a contract with Division One club Bradford City for next season.
Aaron O'Malley, 18, has shrugged off the disappointment of being released by Cheltenham last year.
He has impressed for Lye Town in the West Midlands League and the Birmingham county side.
It led to a Bradford trial for O'Malley who played for their U-19s and so nearly earned a call-up to the reserves.
The former Burlish Olympic player, a pupil at Stourport High School, said: "It was friendly there and I trained with two very experienced keepers, Gary Walsh and Aidan Davison.
"I learnt so much off them with my handling and all-round game.
"I've had to pull out of going up there three times due to travelling and family reasons but they have been very understanding about it.
"I know I've got the ability but I just need to keep focussed and work hard."
