PEOPLE in the Vale have been urged to explore attractions on their doorsteps rather than travel further afield this St George's Day.
Worcestershire County Council's tourism team has been busy promoting attractions within the county and has urged local people to call into a Tourist Information Centre and see just what's on offer in Worcestershire this Easter.
Kathryn Wagstaff, the council's tourism officer, said: "Millions of people visit Worcestershire every year as a tourist, but many people have also been down the road to their local attraction.
"There is so much in the county to be proud of and the combination of Easter weekend starting on April 18 and St George's Day on April 23 is the perfect opportunity for people to enjoy days out."
