WITH their nearest rivals still to play each other, Ambassador made sure of promotion to Division One of the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League with an emphatic win over Lower Moor Utd.

They scored seven without reply with the goals coming from Miles (2), Lynes (2), Haines, Smith and Davies.

Broadway Utd Res remain in the Division Three promotion hunt with a comfortable win at relegated Wickhamford, the highlight being five goals from Rob Roulstone.

Upton Snodsbury closed the gap on Willersey in Division One hitting five past doomed Badsey Rec with goals from Dowling (2), Aldington, Annis and McLean.

Golden Cross set up a Division Four cup final with Shipston Excelsior by hitting 11 past Servicemens.

Having reached the Pershore Hospital Cup final last week, Evesham WMC made it through to the Evesham equivalent with a narrow win over Inkberrow, their opponents will be the Bear who won at Bretforton VIC.

Red Horse and Offenham Rovers made it through to the semi-finals of the Evesham Hospital Minor Cup whilst Queens won a penalty shootout against Pebworth in a delayed second round tie.

The final of the Tewkesbury Sports Knockout Cup between the holders Upton Snodsbury and Bear takes place on Sunday at Pershore Town FC, kick-off 6pm.
