CRAIG Chalmers could be set for a fond farewell on Saturday as he wears the number 10 jersey at Sixways for possibly the final time.
The former British Lion, who has only started two matches in the last six months for Worcester, is named in the side to face Birmingham & Solihull for the National One clash (3pm).
With the 34-year-old uncertain about his future, the game could act as a swansong for Chalmers who arrived at Sixways in 2001.
With Tim Walsh ruled out because of the concussion he suffered against Rotherham on Saturday, James Brown is named only on the bench because of a rib problem.
Worcester are still reeling from the weekend 21-9 defeat by Rotherham which ended the Sixways club's hopes of promotion to the Premiership.
However, director of rugby John Brain believes the players can still achieve something in their final two games.
"If we end the season on 115 points, then that will be the best ever tally by a Worcester team at this level," he said.
"We have to be professional and finish the season strongly, we owe it to our supporters and to ourselves."
Skipper Werner Swanepoel is ruled out for the rest of the season because of an Achilles tear so John O'Reilly takes over at scrum half while Tom Richardson is named in place of the injured Nnamdi Ezulike on the right wing.
Adrian Olver comes in at tighthead prop after Neil Lyman's sternum injury. Gavin Pfister suffered a calf pull in the Rotherham defeat and is out, so openside flanker Richard Nias gets the nod at seven. There is still no place for Jim Jenner in the 22 after he was left out of the side to face Rotherham.
"I appreciate that Jim is frustrated and angry but we have to make decisions which we feel are going to win a particular match," added Brain.
