FOR the first time, Worcestershire Football Association has organised a Level Three Coaching License course at University College, Worcester,between May 26 and 31.

The course is for football coaches who have completed their Level Three coaching certificate and wish to become more committed to coaching football, particularly to teenage and young adult players.

The cost of the course is £160 per candidate.

There is a Level Two coaching course programmed between May 6 and 11, again at University College, Worcester. This is for coaches with previous football experience and teaches skills appropriate to coach children aged between seven and 14.

In partnership with WASP, Worcestershire FA has also organised for Mark Philips of Aston Villa and the England Women's team coach to deliver a coaching day for all budding Worcestershire goalkeepers.

Any players between 10 and 14 can attend a three-hour session on Sunday June 1, at University College, Worcester, with the girls coaching taking place between 10 and 1 and the boys starting at 1.30 and finishing at 4.30.

The cost is £5 per child but they must be accompanied by a coach or adult, who can pick up tips from Mark free of charge.
