A meeting was held at the Cwm Eigiau Hut, in the Carneddau mountains of north Wales, where members ascended Carnedd Llewellyn.
This was followed by a meeting at Little Langdale, in the Lake District, ascents being made of Scafell Pike and Wetherlam.
The next meeting will be from April 25 until April 27, at the Patterdale Hut, in the Lake District.
The onset of summer will see increased climbing activity, with regular visits to places such as Stanage Edge, in Derbyshire's Peak District, The Roaches, Staffordshire, and the Pembrokeshire coast, where there is good sea-cliff climbing.
The club caters for climbers and hill-walkers of all levels of experience. New members are welcome, and can contact the club at The Little Pack Horse, High Street, Bewdley, at around 10pm any Thursday, via the secretary, Vince Harrison, on 01299 871724, or through the website at www.bdmc-uk.com.
