SEVERAL leading local artists will have their work displayed in a fine art exhibition to raise funds for St Richard's Hospice in Worcester Guildhall on Saturday, April 26.
They include Bromyard sculptor Kenneth Potts, whose statue of Sir Edward Elgar stands opposite Worcester Cathedral, international batik expert Margaret Hallmark, from Whittington, and Worcester watercolour painter David Birtwhistle.
As well as an exhibition, there will be a sale of work by these and other Midland artists.
Admission is free and the event is from 10am until 3pm.
The previous evening, Friday, April 25, there is the chance to attend an invitation only drinks reception and preview of the exhibition, as well as take part in a charity auction conducted by Worcester auctioneer and now TV star Philip Serrell.
Philip, who appears in BBC's Bargain Hunt and Flog It antiques series, will be raising his hammer over numerous pieces of art which will hopefully grow in value in years to come.
For a free invitation to the reception and preview, ring Trisha Cavell at St Richard's Hospice on 01905 763963.
