THE Rock and Fossil Roadshow is travelling to Bewdley Museum on Easter Monday to allow youngsters and their parents to discover the joys of geology.
The show is organised by the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust, which is based at University College Worcester.
During the afternoon, visitors will be able to experience fossil making or rubbing, and handling a wide variety of minerals and rocks and much more while investigating the fascinating history of geological evolution.
As well as this, the museum will be exhibiting a wide range of exhibits from its collection. Visitors will be able to bring along their own fossils and have them identified by the experts.
"We've been taking this roadshow around the two counties for a while now and we never cease to be amazed and delighted at the response we get," said Dr Peter Oliver, director of the trust.
"It's a wonderful opportunity to come along and see a wide range of rocks and fossils for yourself and to get hands-on experience of being with these wonderful things."
The Rock and Fossil Roadshow will be returning in July.
Many schools will also be taking youngsters along to the show during June.
The Easter roadshow starts at noon and runs until 4.30pm in the Bewdley Museum, Load Street.
